News should inform, not manipulate.

TrueFrame exists because we believe you're smart enough to see every perspective and decide for yourself.

The problem

Most people get their news from 2-3 sources. Those sources have editorial perspectives. That's not a conspiracy. It's just how journalism works. Editors choose what to cover, which facts to emphasize, which experts to quote, which headlines to write. These choices compound into a worldview.

The result: millions of people see fundamentally different versions of the same events. Not because the facts are different, but because the framing is.

We built TrueFrame because we think the solution isn't to pick the “right” source. It's to see ALL the sources, understand their lenses, and think for yourself.

What we do

We aggregate articles from thousands of news sources across the political spectrum. We use AI to cluster them into stories, rate each source for bias and factuality, and present the full picture side by side.

We don't editorialize. We don't rank stories by engagement or outrage. We don't hide sources we disagree with. We show you everything and give you the tools to make sense of it.

What we don't do

  • ×Tell you what to think
  • ×Hide sources based on political leaning
  • ×Sell your reading data to advertisers
  • ×Accept payment for favorable ratings
  • ×Filter stories by engagement metrics
  • ×Pretend objectivity exists

Our values

01

Transparency over objectivity

Pure objectivity is a myth. Every source has a perspective. We think the honest move is to make those perspectives visible, not to pretend they don’t exist. Transparency is a higher standard than objectivity because it includes self-awareness.

02

Readers are intelligent

We don’t protect you from perspectives we find uncomfortable. We trust you to evaluate competing narratives and form your own view. TrueFrame is built for people who want to think, not be told what to think.

03

Open methodology

Our rating criteria, AI prompts, and methodology are public. We explain why every source gets the rating it does. If you disagree, you can override any rating for your personal feed.
