By accessing or using TrueFrame (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

TrueFrame is an AI-powered news aggregation platform. We aggregate articles from third-party news sources, cluster them by event, and provide AI-generated ratings for political bias, factuality, and ownership. We also generate AI summaries of how different perspectives cover the same story.

TrueFrame is not a news source. We do not write, edit, or publish original news content. All articles belong to their original publishers. We link to source articles and do not host their full content.

3. User Accounts

During the beta period, an access code is required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each person may only maintain one account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit our aggregated content, ratings, or summaries
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Attempt to manipulate bias ratings, factuality scores, or other platform data
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

TrueFrame's bias ratings, factuality scores, ownership classifications, AI-generated summaries, story clustering, and platform design are our intellectual property. Original article content, headlines, and media belong to their respective publishers.

We operate under fair use principles by linking to original sources and providing transformative analysis (bias ratings, clustering, summaries). We do not host or reproduce full article text.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated ratings reflect the model's analysis based on its training data and our prompt instructions. Different models or methodologies could produce different results. We publish rationales for every rating so you can evaluate whether you agree. You may override any rating for your personal feed.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content on the platform.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Limitation of Liability

TrueFrame is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on our ratings, summaries, or aggregated content. Our bias and factuality ratings are informational tools, not definitive judgments.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueFrame shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in California.
